Woman Six-Pack Abs: What's the Story?
When people talk about guys and great abs, the goal is clear: a six-pack. But for a woman, things aren't so clear.
Can a woman develop six-pack abs? Heck yes. Take a look at Sheryl Crow or Gabriela Spanic sometime.
Does a woman have to develop six-pack abs to have "great abs?" Heck no. Few models or female actors have such well-defined abs. Even among women known for great abs, few have a well-defined six-pack. Shakira anyone?
In short, the definition of great abs for a woman isn't as rigid as it is for men. And that's good.
Great Abs for Women
As a woman, you have a lot more flexibility when ti comes to how much you need to develop your abs than a man does.
So how do you get the kind of abs you want?
Does it take different kinds of exercises and nutrition to get "great abs" as opposed to "six-pack abs?"
If a woman follows the kinds of nutrition and workouts in programs like The Truth About SIX PACK ABS, will she end up with six-pack abs?
The good news is that things don't need to be complicated. If you follow a program like The Truth About SIX PACK ABS you will get "great abs." If you want to push it further, you can use the same program to develop "six-pack abs." Look at the two women on the book cover to the right. One is super cut, with highly defined abs. The woman on the left doesn't have anything like the definition of the first, but you can't tell me that she doesn't have great abs.
And because you are a woman, and women are designed to carry a higher bodyfat percentage than men, you don't need as low a percentage for those abs to pop out as does a man. (See Bodyfat % for 6-Pack Abs for more information)
It's all up to you and what you want your belly to look like.
